Consumers are increasingly interested in supporting local "mom and pop" businesses. There is also a grassroots effort calling for asset based trading in our economy. Merchants that belong to DelValley Silver's barter network will draw support to their local business, while giving their local economy a boost as well. |
Founder of DelValley Silver is Karen Emery. She is an assistant organizer of The Levittown Constitution Advocates Project (Glenn Beck, 912) and Free Talk Live AMP member. Karen also is a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). |
Karen Emery moved to the Philly area in 2007 after feeling the initial Detroit area slow down. She has a Masters degree from Walsh College (Troy, MI) in Finance, with a concentration in Austrian Economics. |

DelValley Silver exists to bring stability back to our local marketplace as it brings value not only to the consumer, but to all participating merchants as well. Our model merges two basic age-old systems: barter and silver, used in our network as our unit of trade. |
|
Merchants who have extra inventory on hand can barter that inventory for DelValley Silver medallions with others in the area. Similarly, maybe you have a service company and would like to find an easy inexpensive way to advertise your business within the community? |
